Thank you for your e-mail and your kind comments. This wall hanging is my first venture into doing something more artistic in my quilting. But don't hold your breath, this one took me over a year since I had the idea and actually producing it!
I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised and encouraged by your reaction to it. The wall hanging is not exactly as the original lithograph, which we have in our house. I had seen the original a long time ago at the George Pompidou Centre in Paris at the time we bought the litho in a gallery in the immediate environs back in 1989/90. I've varied the shapes a bit and changed quite a few of the colours.

Het resultaat van noest speurwerk, jou wel toe te vertrouwen.
prachtig. zelf zegr ze dat het een quilt is, dan neem ik aan dat ze ook alles doorgestikt en gepit heeft op een speciaal uitgekozen ondergrond. "Elk uirgekozen lap vertelt een verhaal".
hoe zouden de kleuren in het echt zijn? heb jij die al gezien? en op welke mailtekst van jou geeft zij antwoord? de afmetingen zijn?
Wanneer valt dit parchtwerk te aanschoueen?

Mijn reactie teruglezend, zie ik dat er nogal wat typefouten in staan. Dat tast de perfectie van de overige inhoud wel wat aan.
